Throughout high school, Harris studied under several known guitarists such as Mark Taylor & Steve Smyth, honing a style that draws equally from classical, folk, rock and experimental traditions.
His formal education took him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2009 with a degree emphasizing performance and composition. Returning from South America he moved to New York City where he began a professional career in music.
His music, often characterized by its dramatic, gritty and ethereal qualities; reflects his passion for blending the orchestral and traditional instrumentation with genre ambiguity. Drawing on his love for the modern as well as impressionists and 20th century, Cabell crafts sonic worlds that are both immersive and emotionally resonant.
Currently, Cabell continues to perform, compose and produce in Los Angeles; working with a wide array of artists and projects that span the spectrum of genres.
